Policy and Program Development (Symantec DLP Expert)

Location: On-site | Downtown Dallas, TX
Employment Type: Long term contract - C2C

Job Description:
We are seeking a Symantec DLP Expert to join our team as a Consultant – Policy and Program Development. This full-time, on-site position based in downtown Dallas requires a professional with in-depth knowledge of Symantec Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions, particularly in configuration and policy management. The ideal candidate will play a key role in developing, managing, and optimizing data security policies to support our organization's broader information security strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
Configure and manage Symantec DLP systems to protect sensitive data and prevent data loss.
Develop and refine data protection policies in line with organizational requirements and compliance standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess risks and implement effective DLP strategies.
Provide expert-level consultation on data security policies and program development.
Monitor, report on, and fine-tune DLP policies for continued effectiveness.
Required Qualifications:
Proven expertise in Symantec DLP configuration and policy management.
Strong understanding of data security frameworks and best practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
Symantec DLP Certification.
CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) certification is highly desirable.

Rate: 50 to 55$ per hour on C2C.

Direct Client Requirement - Workday Studio Integration Consultant

 

Job title: Workday Studio Integration Consultant

Location: Hybrid (3 days at Austin, TX or Menlo Park, CA)

Skill: Studio integrations from scratch


Requirement for Contingent Worker in Workday Integration Space:1. At least 3 years' experience in Workday Integrations (Integrations and not functional or overall)
2. Extensive experience in Studio integrations with at least ~4 large-scale/complex studio implementations
a. Complexity would include but not limited to retrieving multiple reports
b. Complex eval and mvel usage
c. Complex transformation (XSLT 2.0 and preferable XSLT3.0) capabilities
d. Experience loading effective dated and non-effective dated custom objects data
e. Experience with API calls and handling multiple web services in a single integration
3. Experience reading and converting other formats (JSON, Text with different delimiters)
4. Experience in gathering requirements for the integrations and documentation (design and build)
5. Experience working/collaborating with the functional team for any updates and data reviews.

Preferable but not expected:
1. Experience in PECI / PICOF

2. Experience in one other coding language like Python or Java

Security Researcher Student Co-op/Intern

CyberDX's client, a Fortune 50  leader in the Cybersecurity industry is looking to hire multiple Security Researcher for a fully remote opportunity. As the Security researcher, you will develop specifications for extremely complex  computer network security/protection technologies for company  information and network systems/applications.


What you'll do: This internship provides working experience on  the Training team, which is part of the Intelligence Services Team,  which supports our clients. Interns will work on typical job assignments  and special projects as a cohort:

  • Support CyberDX's cybersecurity clients by verifying their  enrollment in the correct cybersecurity courses and working with our  Consultants to load materials into the learning management system:  CyberDX University.
  • Gain hands-on experience with a learning management system by  ensuring our clients have access to the latest and greatest course  content as well as loading new video content, supplementary course  materials, and more under the guidance of our Learning Architect.
  • Interact daily with all levels of employees within CyberDX  in the creation of client-specific channels in the learning management  system. Plus, you'll have the opportunity to work with various client  teams supporting many different industries.
  • Become an integral partner in gathering and reviewing metrics within  the learning management system as well as using additional analytical  tools layered on top.
  • Become a vital part of the team in sharing your ideas to help us  automate and scale new content that goes into the learning management  system.


What you'll bring:

  • Enrolled undergraduate student (Juniors or Seniors preferred) or recent grad

Hours per Week: 10 to 20 hours per week unpaid but end of the internship students would enhance there skills and get real-time experience certified from CyberDX

DLP Security Engineer at Frisco, Texas

RESPONSIBILITIES:

CyberDX's client, a Fortune 50  leader in the banking industry is looking to hire multiple Information  Security Engineers for a fully remote opportunity. As the Information  Security Engineer, you will develop specifications for extremely complex  computer network security/protection technologies for company  information and network systems/applications. You will develop security  solutions for the company's networks and virtual private networks,  application systems, key public infrastructures, authentication and  directory services to ensure the security of the network and  confidential data.

Summary:
The DLP Security Engineer you will identify emergent  vulnerabilities, evaluates associated risks and threats, and designs  network vulnerability scans to identify security vulnerabilities and  provides remediation alternatives to the customer. The Engineer serves  as technical lead responsible for specific areas of computer security  incident response activities to include intrusion detection monitoring,  scanning, cyber threat reporting, and development/implementation of  vulnerability mitigation strategies.

Responsibilities: 

  • Lead security risk assessments to ensure compliance with corporate security policies and adherence to best practices
  • Lead the evaluation of vendor proposals, new and existing security designs, and emerging security technologies and systems
  • Serve as a high-level technical security resource on large-scale network and/or systems/applications issues
  • You may direct or serve as a mentor to less experienced staff
  • Work on Enterprise Data Lake and Data Security for Audit and Monitoring, Data Scanning and Masking efforts, supporting
  • Support infrastructure, data masking SME to application teams  during on boarding process, supporting infrastructure and implementation  of data scanning solution in the lake and on boarding of Hadoop nodes  for Audit and Monitoring solution


REQUIREMENTS: 

  • 5-7 years of Information Security experience  
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of Data Loss Prevention (DLP) (Ex: Symantec, MacAfee) 
  • Provide guidance configuring, implementing and upgrading DLP tool policy 
  • Demonstrate knowledge on endpoint DLP, Network DLP, email DLP installation, configuration, and maintenance. 
  • Provide  guidance, recommendations, best practices, for DLP operations.  Stabilize and optimize DLP system performance, including rules and  reports. Recommend, plan and implement DLP tool upgrades and patch  updates. 
  • Policy fine tuning 
  • Perform Data discovery using DLP discovery modules 
  • Apply  Data Classification policy including user access levels on least  privileged, need-to-know basis and associated encryption needs and  integrity controls 
  • Perform data labelling for data classification and verifying access controls, data encryption 
  • Develop  and manage a comprehensive data classification scheme, adhering to  procedures for data protection, back-up, and recovery 
  • Prepare technical standard operating procedures for DLP. 
  • Develop policies and procedure around DLP. 
  • Maintain ongoing project management and relationship development to ensure the highest level of customer service 
  • Responsible for day-to-day operations, ensuring that the implementation is in compliance with the agreed objective. 
  • Conduct workshops highlighting project status and gathering updated customer expectations. 
  • Perform  data security domain security assessments, identify areas of continuous  improvement, and present recommendation to the client. 
  • Ensure SLAs/SLOs/OLAs related to incident, change and service request are met.
  • Applicants must be fully authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
